Pink Floyd released an 20th anniversary video version of their instrumental “Marooned” which uses timelapse video photography taken by astronauts on the International Space Station

Below, a new video from Coldplay and their song “Sky Full of Stars” uses aurora imagery taken by Swedish astrophotopher Göran Strand, whose work we post frequently:

Let me post mine as well. I came across this one day just watching various videos of Pink Floyd.

This is a full concert performed by David in Gdansk. It’s just magnificent.

It starts with some of his more recent work, but around 2/3 in it goes into the most epic performance of Echoes that I have ever seen. It’s my absolute favorite version of the song, and the show finishes with Comfortably Numb, ending with the best solo I have ever seen him play with regard to that particular song.

I hope you enjoy this show as much as I do!

Unless, of course, you’re Israel.

I liked that early Pink Floyd, too.

But the anti-Israel actions of Waters and the other guy are rubbing me totally the wrong way.

Ah, Waters politics are lunacy, but I do not admire these men for their politics.

There music is completely unique, I’ve never come across anything else like it in all my life, so I really appreciate them very much.

What they made, to me, is art. As long as they leave their politics out of it, and that goes for any performer I admire, then all is good.

David seems to do that, Rogers doesn’t. I do not see myself going to see any of his shows because of that, even though I do love some of the music he has made in his life.

That’s an amazingly creative response. What ever could you possibly post to top that?
