"Don't be disappointed," Ian Shepherdson, chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, said in a research note. "The trend is downwards, signaling faster payroll growth."

I don't buy it.

All they've done is to move people off the books.

Bring back American jobs.

Bad numbers will be reported (barely) with little fanfare and immediately pushed aside by something else. In a week or two they'll fudge the numbers, report "growth" by dropping unemployment numbers and trumpet this from the ramparts. Then quietly "adjust" those numbers later after full reporting or some such nonsense.

Any and all numbers coming out of the liar-in-chief's administration are suspect. If they said there were 24 hours in a day I'd check my watch. If you actually believed their numbers we should have "created or saved" ourselves to full employment by now.

And if they said the Sun rose in the East I would check with the weather bureau.

From the article:
‘The economy grew just 0.1 percent at an annual rate in the first three months of this year, largely because cold weather kept consumers away from shopping malls and discouraged home and car sales. Data that has been released since then suggests that the economy actually contracted in the first quarter by as much as 0.8 percent, analysts say.’

God, the excuses never end. Of course it is never cold in the winter and we can expect more of the same due to global climate disruption and women and children will be most effected. All cause by those blue eyed devils white men.

Numbers going even a little bit in a good direction indicate a “growing “ economy and the government policies are working. I.e. unemployment down by one tenth of one percent.

Numbers going a whole bunch it the bad direction is just a “temporary glitch.” Unemployment up “only” 10 percent.

when everyone is on social security, disability or welfare the unemployment rate will be zero, since it only counts those who are lookin’ for work!

Rule #1427 - always issue bad upward corrections on a Thursday leading into a holiday weekend.

‘I think most of us live in the real world.’

Unfortunately!

The World for Obama is one where rank incompetence is rewarded with incredible wealth, privilege and power.

The Hero of Benghazi will do something about unemployment as soon as it’s on MeSSNBC or he reads it in the paper.

“I was not made aware. I just read it in the paper. I’m as disappointed as your are. We’ll get to the bottom of this. Someone will be held accountable.”
