Thank you for referencing that article GlobalVagabond. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

The integrity of the referenced article aside, note that the FCC is regarded as an “independent federal regulatory agency.” The major constitutional problem with such agencies is this imo.

The Founding States had made the Constitution’s first numbered clauses, Sections 1-3 of Article I, evidently a good place to hide it from federal lawmakers, to clarify the following. All federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress; not in the executive or judicial branches, or non-elected federal bureaucrats like those running the FCC. In other words, Congress has a monopoly on federal legislative / regulatory powers whether it wants it or not.

The bottom line concerning so-called independent federal regulatory agencies like the FCC is the following imo. By establishing such agencies, corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting federal legislative / regulatory powers from the wrath of the voters in blatant defiance of the constitutional clauses referenced above.

This post is inexcusable! It should minimally be tagged as satire, if not marked in the title. It is far too believable and gets people upset unnecessarily. We shouldn’t have to keep track of which sites are satirical in order to keep from being duped.

I agree. There are several sites that people are using to post things that turn out to be satire. I don’t much care for it. I’ve asked a few times why these “articles” can’t be marked in the first post as satire.

You know..a few years ago I would have said just be cool. But the things going on these days result in stuff like this being ignorant and..I aint got the words for it.

They think they are being cute by doing crap like this. Dont swallow anything as they would stand there after they started a big fight and say “Who me?” “I didnt do anything.”

Darn, you put the satire right at the front .... took most of the fun out of it ... except for some of the postings.
