Posted on 05/27/2014 1:46:14 PM PDT by ConservativeStatement
Nothing angers me more than when people in the media compare that mediocre Jeb Bush to the great Hillary Clinton. First of all, the Bushes are a political dynasty; the Clintons are not. The Clintons are a team.

Liberals don’t much care about reality anymore.
Holy Kick-Me-In-The-nutz and jamb-a-stick-up-my-arse!!
WTF planet is this? Are we really going to make an argument for Hillary that includes, “It would be historic.” (first female and all)? Haven’t we already learned our lesson about that? Or has this guy had his head up Bill’s ass for the past 6 years?
For similar reasons, I guess they should not oppose electing Ted Cruz as the first Hispanic president.
Perhaps with Ben Carson as VP, for the first black VP.
And together as the first non-white total ticket.
What a maroon! If the Clintons are a team, they are an assclown team. If elected, they will become a political dynasty which will make the Bushes look competent by comparison.
historical significance is so much more important than keeping the country from dying
Shall we say the author is a tad naïve and likely blinded by being sheltered in her experiences.
I think I’m about to elect to move myself out of this lunatic asylum called America.
Electing a monkey would be historic too.
Angry Stalinist. Move to North Korea, kook.
The Clintons are not a team, they are a crime syndicate.
How about for Historical significance we try the lying scumbag female and send her to prison for twenty years. THAT is what she deserves, not some flatulent promotion.
So were the 1962 Mets.
That was one of my possible replies.
Remember back when people like this were institutionalized?
I would have less of a problem voting for a monkey.
Just yesterday I was arguing with a liberal about Hitler and unions. The liberal naturally called Hitler a conservative who outlawed unions. I responded by quoting Hitler from Mein Kampf about his support of unions and provided a link to the full text of the entire chapter.
The idiot liberal declared that there is nothing to be learned from the man’s own words, instead I should seek sources of “alternative history” for the truth.
I really don’t know how you debate people who so clearly reject reality.
by that logic alone, the Main stream media should have been pushing palin because of “historical significance”. McCain as the first POW for historical significance.
Quibbling. They aren't a multi-generation dynasty (yet), but Hillary certainly has had a leg up because of who her husband is, and if she gets elected President, she and Bill will be as much of dynasty as the Bushes or Adamses were, just as we'd call the Kennedys a dynasty if two brothers had been elected president and the rest of the family had stayed out of politics.
Single-generation political dynasties (or whatever you want to call them) tend to go under the radar: the Burtons, the Levins, the Salazars, the Castros, the Sanchezes.
“Electing a monkey would be historic too.”
Been there, done that!
I thought Bill and Monica were a Team.
After all, like Siamese Twins they were joined at Bill’s Penis. Being the ultimate Multi-tasker, Bill’s nose was to the Grindstone taking calls from Congress while Monica’s Nose was, well...
Bonnie and Clyde were a Team.
Personally, I don't. After years of having debates as you described, my mind did not change one bit and their's rarely did. So I just quit.
Liberals will learn the truth in time.
Reba doesn’t sound very bright.
We had enough of the ‘historical’ presidency with Obama, and we see how well that has worked out. I don’t care if she does have lady parts, I won’t vote for Hillary Clinton, because I use my lady SMARTS, and know that her liberal ideas, like Obama’s are the WORST thing for this country!
Mind your language please; there are ladies present.
Letter: Snoopy for president
Letter writer Reba Shimansky makes powerful and cogent arguments for electing, to the highest office in the land, Snoopy. He has appeared in newspapers, magazines, books and television, he is internationally recognized and he has widespread appeal. He even has military experience! To paraphrase Ms. Shimanskys circular reasoning: If Snoopy were elected president, it would be a milestone in U.S. election history because electing the first canine president and breaking through that doggie-door would be historic. Snoopys leadership abilities and executive experience far exceed Hillary [Clintons]. Its scary that votes based on notoriety and fame have the same weight as those based on objective examinations of ability and experience. http://www.metro.us/newyork/news/voices/2014/05/27/letter-snoopy-president/
First bi-sexual female President.
