Any stories of Obama buyer's remorse?

Posted on 05/27/2014 11:31:09 PM PDT by eekitsagreek

Just wondering if anyone has stories of people with Obama buyer's remorse. I am not talking about those who are dedicated leftists, but those who are more of the moderate or independent minded voter who now regret having voted for him once or twice.

In my case, I met a woman who was absolutely taken by the way Obama spoke so eloquently. She was sure this man would change things for the better. She really believed that a new era had begun.

Now that she has seen what Obama has done, she has really regretted voting for him and is now fearful of what may come next. I asked her if this was the first time she was captivated by a guy's "sweet talk".

She did not say anything, but the look she gave me provided the answer.

“I met a woman who was absolutely taken by the way Obama spoke so eloquently.”

Every time I read this I want to scream. Barry can’t put a sentence together without a teleprompter. The woman you talked to is total idiot and a leftist.

Face it.
A critical segment of the Obama electorate are beyond having any remorse, if you catch my drift.

People did not vote for Obama because they were positive and hopeful. They voted for him out of negativity, darkness and sin. He was an expression of envy, jealousy, covetousness, anger, hatred, bitterness. They voted for him to advance their ugly agendas. They knew what he was and they knew what they were doing. Why would they have remorse.

> You are describing my oldest sister to a tee. When I visit back east around Thanksgiving, I make an effort to say not a word about her Tiger-Beat like photo montage/ ‘Shrine’ to Obama. It’s disgusting and I’m a bit disappointed that she doesn’t even bother trying to see what’s really transpiring. We used to discuss politics, but we don’t talk of the Presidency since Novemeber of 2008. Like most libs, she cannot handle any dissenting views. So fine, keep your head in the sand, is what I’ll be thinking.

After many years of trying to reason logically and rationally with emotional thinkers I have realized its an exercise in futility and no matter how much fact gathering you do, no matter how much effort you put into laying the information out that would lead a reasonable and intelligent person to come to the same conclusion it will not work because they have too much pride or are too arrogant to admit what is evident. They are the knee-jerking reactionists that give tyrants like Barack Obama and his kind his power. All you can look forward to is the day they they have to fall on their own sword and reap the consequences when they realize you were right and only trying to sound the warning bells and protect the other villagers.

Fear of being called a racist is a powerful motivator.

I know only one person who admitted he voted for Obama and that person is a single issue voter. He always votes for the candidate who wants more gun control, even though he is quite conservative on every other major issue.

I didn’t speak to my best friend for six months after I found out she voted for him in 2012. I think she voted for him because she & her elderly parents are all ill & on govt assistance. I feel sad that they will end up on pain pills instead of real treatments. All are pretty sick, so they won’t be considered productive.
I can’t talk politics with her - she’s now claiming that she too, was a community organizer (um, no, she wasn’t). I wonder who gave her so much kool aid.

My libinlaw is still totally in the tank for Obama and anything leftist/communist/democrat.

But, when I asked her in ‘08 what qualified Obama for president, her answer was basically that he spoke so well.

I have come to realize that Leftists operate by their own toxic concoction of 1) Omerta and 2) Taqqiya. 1) Never speak out to reveal the corruption they know to be true for fear of literally lethal consequences, and 2) any lie is acceptable in order to obtain the collectivist fascism they so dearly want to exist. #1 explanins why there have ben so few “tell all” memoirs from the Xlintoon and Soetero cabals; they will simply become victims of Arkanicide if they do. #2 is equally simple, they see endemic lying as part of the equation.

The joke is they think they will be the overlords in the new collective.

You are correct...underneath their superficial support for Obama is a deeply rooted hatred towards republicans who they stereotype as backward religious greedy gun toting retards along with the uber rich big business types who manipulate the retards.

Bottom line in their hatred of who they think we are will always justify voting for the democrat flavor of the month.

I don’t know if “still think he’s a swell guy” is qualification for the office. It certainly wasn’t then and still isn’t now. I didn’t know anything about him then and could never find out anything because he was being protected by the flacks in the mainstream media. Clint Eastwood’s empty chair speech at the 2012 republican convention was spot on.

Cults remove all logic and reasoning. Obama’s true believers are devoid of those qualities. They see him as their savior who wold give them the world if it wasn't for those pesky conservatives. Point out his mortality, his shortcomings and the fact that he doesn't give a rat's behind about them and all they can do is regurgitate the talking points given to them by the propaganda ministry. He's leading them into the abyss and they will blindly follow.

Helping put signs in yards and handing out pamphlets isn’t the as being a community organizer. Of course these are uually the same type people that think all kids should be “winners” on field day at the schools and receive ribbons.

I think she claimed this after working as a coordinator at a VITA site. *shrug* She’s strange. She has some conservative values, such as belief in gun rights, but then again, she went gaga over gay marriage equality....I blame the 3 strokes she had....
