The quest for a perfect body is putting women in Tucson, Ariz., in danger. The FBI is currently trying to locate Ivonne Clarisa Ceballos Tapia and Perla Guadalupe Rubio Prado. The two women are accused of performing illegal buttock injections with polyacrylamide hydrogel, a watery gel not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Why the heck the FBI is involved in this is beyond me. I guess it is minority women involved.

What is the method the FBI is using to identify the victims? Profiling?
We had an alleged person here in FL who was using “Fix-A-Flat” to get similar results.
omgosh! i am amazed at what some women will go through... a few years ago i had an appointment for botox injections... my niece talked me into... she had been getting them for a couple of years at that point (we are 4 years apart)... at the last minute i chickened out and did not go through with it... and i am glad... my niece looks weird to me... unnatural... and i can always tell when she is due for an appointment... no thanks!
Interstate commerce is the reason the FBI is involved. The gel probably came across state lines and or they are operating across states lines.
However, the interstate commerce clause is a very abused clause. It gives the ability of the Federal government to intervene in areas that should be strictly the purview of the states.

I agree. I will also say that Interstate Commerce now covers everything, and that is wrong.
This sounds like something that would fit right in to a low budget police comedy movie.
As the two cops drive onto the block where the suspected illegal butt enhancements are being carried out, they notice that all the adults and even children have gigantic balloon butts. And the dogs and cats as well.
Then, while interviewing the suspects, one of them sneaks up behind the cops and sticks syringes connected to a large and improbable machine, which starts inflating their rear ends while they try to pull out the needles.
Not THAT butt, I mean her rear end....
And I’m on my way to the gym to get RID OF all that lard.

Subtle common sense botox injections look good. That she overdoes it shouldn’t condemn the product. And it’s been used in our bodies for decades for overactive sweat glands, spastic muscles that tic, bladders that leak, etc.
“Do these injections make my butt look big?” PING!
