I have that book (given to me) and I just can’t bring myself to read it.

I love the Bill O’Reilly music video “F*** It!”, which still has the power to make me laugh every time, but it says a lot about him (to me, at least)

I just don’t like him.

If you know the history, don't bother. However, it is well written, albeit, revels nothing new.

No mystery, he was assassinated by his Army.

Target Patton was published in 2008. More here.

Patton may have been killed, but color me skeptical about Bazata:

After the war he became a celebrated artist who enjoyed the patronage of Princess Grace of Monaco and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

He was friends with Salvador Dali, who painted a portrait of Bazata as Don Quixote.

Not exactly the best references.

Was kind of wondering who the next “Killing of” book would be about.

I posted long ago that he should write "Killing Able" and be done with it.

I personally knew and worked with for several years one of Patton’s lieutenants from his inner staff, a man who after the war worked on the NYPD and then obtained a law degree and was an IRS investigator before going into private practice. He investigated the matter thoroughly and came to the inclusion that it was an accident.

The soldier replied: "Well, I can't speak for the other guys, but I use my fork!"

Heh....I won a weekend resort hotel trip from a radio station by using a version of that joke years ago - only then it was an efficiency expert and a waiter...."I don't know about the other guys, but I use the spare spoon I keep in my vest"

Blowhard Bill will give us an elaborate murder theory, probably claiming the Russians had him killed, then at the end of the book he’ll say his “personal” opinion is Patton did in fact die in an car wreck. He did the exact same thing in the Kennedy book. Almost every Kennedy expert known to man thinks more than one man shot at him, and it was most probably a conspiracy. But instead of agreeing with the experts, blowhard sides the government and says Oswald acted along, nothing to see here, move along. And the Jesus book was a joke.

Hahaha...that’s pretty cool! I wonder if the story actually originated with Patton, or if it is one of those ageless ones that just keeps getting recycled!
