England players set to pocket £350,000 bonus should they win the World Cup

England's remarkably serene build-up to the World Cup includes agreeing player bonuses for Brazil with the minimum of fuss well in advance of the big kick-off.

The squad are understood to be on around £350,000 each for winning the tournament, with the deal heavily incentivised for progressing through the group stage.

They’ve been sending one of those balls with cameras embedded in it for a pre-World Cup promo tour. Are there any plans for using that tech in the matches themselves, though?

29 May 2014 - adidas Brazuca Final Rio unveiled
adidas has unveiled the brazuca Final Rio Official Match Ball, the official match ball for the Final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. The ball will be an integral part of the fixture on 13 July, when two teams will do battle for a place in history.

The design of brazuca Final Rio has been inspired by the green and gold on the FIFA World Cup Trophy and is a variation of the previously released adidas brazuca Official Match Ball, which was launched back in December last year.

Just search for Brazuca on YouTube to see some of the videos. How wild would it be to watch a penalty taken from the vantage point of the ball?

Brazil at 50% probability seems way too high. I like Spain. England rarely delivers, and they’re in a group of death.
