Telling it exactly as it is.
A link would help
Sorry, D. It’s at the top, but here’s the drawn out version of the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIjf0u0ah80
Thank you. I did not realize that was the full link. Chuck is pretty much right on. I also, have noted that Obama is a judgement for our nation.
I believe that.
YW, D. I thought Dr. Missler did a good job of explaining, and I appreciated his remarks re Obama and all the homosexuality we are facing in today’s world.
I also appreciated his speaking openly about it all. Too few these days will do so.
Thanks for the ping, Mrs. Z!
(LOL. I’ve done worse.)
My husband and I have been listening to Chuck for 30 years...since the “Firefighters for Christ” tape days.
He is great, isn’t he? And one of the few whom I have no worries about concerning good intentions.
I wish I could get inside his head and then walk away with just a tenth of the knowledge and wisdom he has. My mind would not be able to handle any more than that. It seems that he has to struggle to come down to the level of most people (myself included), but he does it with grace and patience.
You are probably already familiar with them but if not, I highly recommend his Beyond ... lectures on youtube. I had to watch them several times to fully appreciate what he conveys. It was time well spent.
I teach physics at a Christian prep school.
I use Chuck’s “Beyond...” series for the modern physics unit.
I end up stopping and “rewinding” because he talks so fast, but the kids still love his stuff.
“I teach physics at a Christian prep school.”
Wow! Be glad I didn’t know that when I was watching the series. :-)
I struggle, and I’m quite sure I don’t understand 99.99% of it. I will have to agree with Missler’s position that specially trained mathematicians and small children are generally the ones who have no comprehension problems in this area. However, for me to merely be exposed to the subject and process what little I’m able has opened up the Bible in ways I never dreamed of. I’ve never read it the same since.
God bless you, Mrs. Z. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
