How would you spend your 92nd birthday? Would you record a heavy metal album? Well, thats what Christopher Lee did. This year, hes created an album of covers of various songs in a heavy metal style as a tribute to Miguel de Cervantes novel Don Quixote. Its called Metal Knight.

Trains, Russians, and Chris Lee.
Can’t get much creepier than that!
He is a very brilliant, very deeply educated man. Sort of an English Charlton Heston.....
He was great a few years ago as Johnny Depp’s dentist father in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory....
I understand that he reads Lord of the Rings each year, still today....he had wanted to play Saruman for many years before the opportunity actually arrived.
God bless him, he’s a great actor...
Best “Dracula” ever!
“God bless him, hes a great actor...”
Yep.
“Best Dracula ever!”
Better than Lugosi? Ehhh... I might have to disagree.
I never liked his original 1930s movie Dracula.
Always seemed like too low quality.
I liked him in a number of other movies, especially as Egor in Ghost of Frankenstein.
His role as Dracula in Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein 1948 was probably the peak of his career, most people saw him as Dracula in it.
He got many good lines in that.
In the 1950s his roles got worse and worse and he deteriorated and died during 'Plan 9 from...'
Bela Lugosi’s dead.
I know that!
Good points.
I submit Gary Oldman, in Coppola’s version of Dracula, was the best “one-off” actor performance of Dracula.
Ah, I see you’re not a fan of Goth Music.
He is?
I just saw him in a movie recently.
Good God, NO!!!
I’d rather listen to cats in heat than that stuff.
The movie must have been made prior to 1960-ish.
Bela won’t be down for breakfast.
“I am the new master of this house and you are no longer welcome here”
And when he turned back and forth to mist and goes under doors. It's spooky.
I first saw it as a kid naturally and it turned up on MeTV last year.
You get that channel too? Nice.
Saturday night 10pm they replayed ‘Munster Go Home”
Yuck,
Fortunately I had DVRed a 1950s sci-fi movie from TCM earlier in the day and watched that instead.
World Without End (1955)
In the future the women are all FNC like babes and the men there all look like they are nursing home patients, So since the future men cant get the babes pregnant they need the spacemen er astronauts from 1950s Earth to carry the weight and knock them up, and fight a few mutants too.
Not a bad reward for a long space trip huh?
I don’t know that one. I don’t get TCM either. Too bad, ‘cause “A Hard Day’s Night” is on tonight.

I guess he really is immortal, and I thought he just played one.
; )
No kidding, eh?
