Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson can do everything. When not recording music or filling arenas around the world, the man tackles business ventures, practices fencing, fills millions of pints with Trooper ale and flies planes.

Why does John Denver come to mind?
Well, John Deutchendorfer actually made some good music.
Unlike this guy.
Wish him well in his endeavors and may he be safe and retire from music.
Out for the scramble we’ve got to get airborne
Got to get up for the coming attack.
Jump in the cockpit and start up the engines
Remove all the wheel blocks
there’s no time to waste
Gathering speed as we head down the runway
Gotta get airborne before it’s too late
“I got a fever - and the only prescription is more cowbell!!”
Scream for me Knebworth!
And now I HAVE TO listen to it! Loud!!! My kids are using the good headphones, so the neighbors will just have to love it!
They'll either be troopers or they'll run to the hills.
I immediately thought of Randy Rhoads.
Out here, they’re likely to run outside and fire rounds into the air. Anything can make it happen.
If they fire their muskets, run them through.

Then cleanse your musical palate with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX2y51ixsu8 (Black Sabbath’s War Pigs in Latin)
Then rock on! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARnBgW5XgSo
He puts his pants on one leg at a time like everyone else. Except when he gets his pants on, he makes gold records!
That was all fun. Source material.
Cool. And now for something completely different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en1uwIzI3SE
If you are going there, I’m going here!
I roll my eyes every time some girl proclaims to like “80s music”... they have no clue what we REALLY listened to back then.
A couple weeks ago I was in my truck driving through town and, Run To The Hills came on the local FM rock station... I cranked it, loud.
Yes, I was one of “those people”.
Speaking of playing it loud, Saxon was another one of my faves back in the 80s:
I listened to all of it. Run to the Hills will always get max volume. The other day Like a Rainbow in the Dark got cranked! Dio!!! The metal was fun, as was the pop stuff. Like most eras, the 80s was both good and bad. I even like some of the bad now, out of nostalgia. Some OMD makes me want to slow dance with a girl (or forty-something woman) in acid-washed, leather-trimmed jeans in a gym now, whilst I wear .... probably the same.
The most awesome moment of the 80s!!!!
Not that we were competing, but . . . YOU win!
