This was not in the Barack Obama playbook. The resignation of Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki on Friday did not follow the usual arc of a crisis in the Obama administration.
Obama prefers to not get sucked into a drama and cede in the heat of the moment. He’d rather send in fixers and have the bloodletting occur in due course. Shinseki, however, tendered his resignation at the height of a political clamor for his departure and as revelations of systemic delays in veterans’ patient care mounted daily. The inspector general, examining the troubled VA health care system in Phoenix, found that about 1,700 veterans in need of care were “at risk of being lost or forgotten” after being kept off an official waiting list. Shinseki was supposedly a great VA administrator, and left because he didn’t want to be a distraction. If he’s such a great administrator, why wouldn’t Obama want to keep him around to fix the mess?

When the democrats refused to vote for the 3 page VA accountability bill which would allow easy firings for incompetence, I immediately thought “UNIONS”.

Just after the November elections, Biden will resign due to prostate cancer (or some other medical condition). Hillary will get the VP appointment, and run for President as the sitting VP.
Obama doesn’t mind firing General Shinseki. The Secretary isn’t female or a protected minority, just a man with a distinguished military career.

The inspector general’s report offered another troubling observation: The issues went back nearly a decade, before Obama’s presidency.We know Obama knew about it and that it’s on the record that he ran for the presidency on it; blather about an IG report is blather. Point is, he did nothing about it and even made it worse. That’s called a Blame Bush Fail.
That’s hardly a comfort for Obama and his beleaguered White House. Obama served on the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee that reviewed those inspector general studies. He ran for president in 2008 with a promise to improve the delivery of benefits for veterans. His wife has made helping veterans and their families a priority. No-drama Obama?? Yeah, right. Obama is sooooo predictable. Drag it out, then say it is old news. Then fire the person Obama is blaming, then ignore the problem and create another diversion drama. If we had a Press that was even half responsible, Obama would have never had the opportunity to destroy this once great country.
Obama would replace Shinseki with Medea Benjamin if he thought he could get away with it.

Bottom line- Shinseki was a lousy, self centered executive and his lord and overseer Bammy, is even worse, but none of that matters to the fascists running the switches. What matters is the warp spped fundamental transformation of the USA into a euro style socialist state.
Obama fires Shinseki but keeps Holder? Racism.
