Posted on 05/31/2014 1:01:01 PM PDT by Olog-hai
Rep. Corrine Brown (D-Fla.) says that over 4 million Florida residents will die if Medicaid is not expanded there.
In fact, weve got over 4 million people that need medical expansion of health care that we are sending back, thats going to die because theyre not getting the quality health care that they need, Brown said during Wednesday nights Veterans Affairs Committee hearing.
Brown was being critical of Gov. Rick Scotts (R-Fla.) move to sue the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for not allowing state hospital officials to inspect federal medical care facilities.

People need to eat well and exercise. And I hate to break it to progressives, but death is inevitable.
The death rate is 100% with it.
Every single person now living in Florida will die if Obamacare isn’t repealed immediately!
(Of course they will also eventually die if it is. We are all still mortal, no matter how much we have big government to make our choices for us.)
That means Obamacare is killing over 4 million people in Florida.
The Democrats are trying to snuff out as many Republicans as they can before 2016.
Gee, sounds like an epidemic.
The government oughtta do something.
If those 4 million (who might die without an expansion of Health Care) who won’t insure themselves without government subsidized medical care then I would think that those 4 million are a good start to solving a lot of problems in Florida.
You read that on the Internet somewhere?
Of course with the expansion 4 million will die. Florida is still the state of the newly wed and the nearly dead. I am certain Florida is over extended on Medicaid since they have so many old retirees that are spending the last several months of their lives in a nursing home at government expense.
When the sea level rises they’ll die anyway. /s
Killing 2 birds with one stone.
Once they're dead, those Republicans will forever be voting Democrat
Twenty million Floridians will die no matter what happens.
They’re ALL going to die. Of something.
Damn, Corrine Brown is right, except her numbers are off.
In fact, I predict the entire population of Florida will die.
The total death rate in Florida is about 135,000 a year.
Stupid Democrat is trying to say that if we don’t provide MORE health insurance for people, somehow 4 million people are going to die.
Remember, this isn’t even “taking away insurance”, it is “keeping the status quo”.
I’m less worried about 4 million dying in Florida than I am about the dog that died on her head.
Corrine Brown, trying to make Shelia Jackson Lee look like a Rhodes Scholar.
Oh no! This will cause an imbalance and the state will tip into the sea.
My God... 3 minutes of BS and bad speech. Shelia Jackson Lee and Corrin Brown should take an IQ test. Combined, I don’t think it would measure 10.
How many will die if it is expanded?
That should save us some money.
Since when is it OK to attend a congressional committee meeting with a dead road-kill muskrat on your head? Enquiring minds want to know.
Corrine is unquestionably the stupidest person ever to hold any office higher than scullery rat. Her district is about 100 miles long and 1000 yards wide and twists from Jacksonville almost to Orlando. If it wasn’t gerrymandered so she wouldn’t have been elected in the first place let alone repeatedly. She is the worst of the Florida dimrat disgraces. And that’s saying a lot.
Brown, Lee, Waters, Sanchez Sisters...... It’s 100% certainty that there are much brighter bulbs in their Districts, yet.........
She should sell her wigs. That’ll cover the shortfall.
Corrine Brown’s intellectual soul mate and political fellow traveler postulated a danger of Guam capsizing. Dead Floridians and Guam capsized - all the fault of El Presedente Jorge Boosh!
‘Tis tru - they said so.
did this idiot miss the massive expansion Obama just did?
How in the world did the human species last so long without the magnificent One to save us with Obamacare?
I wish some hard nosed reporter would ask him publicly to see his math and explain how he came up the the 4 million number. I wished every reporter would just check the math. Much of this nonsense would stop if they knew they would have to explain the numbers.
Isn’t she the one who said that sharks still troll the old slave trade routes expecting to feed on more of the millions of Africans chucked overboard during the passage?
You read that on the Internet somewhere?
Why yes. Yes I did. If you can’t trust The Onion, who CAN you trust.
