do you know a way of downloading this to computer?

Were you able to get a copy? I tried to get a copy for myself via the NPR podcast icon but it would not work for me.

OK; I got a copy as follows but I had to use Windows IE. Chrome would not work..
Go to this link
http://www.npr.org/templates/rss/podlayer.php?id=315273149

Look for the mp3 file "201405112_specialmusic_bluenote.mp3".
Right click on the file name and select "save target as".

The file will be downloaded to your PC.

Thank you for sharing.

Maybe people can try this. It might be easier.

Then follow the rest of what you said.

Right click - Save As

I didn’t try — not my cup of tea.

SoundFlower doesn’t download a file from a site. It captures the audio stream as you play it. It’s a last resort for me when sites don’t allow you to download a file. It works well, but you have to set the computer up to play the entire stream, capture it, then do some cleanup in an audio editor at the beginning and end, save MP3, etc. Not hard, but time consuming, so I don’t do it that often. I sometimes do it to listen to CSPAN items that don’t allow file downloads and don’t post their stuff to iTunes Podcasts.
