But will it be 3rd down and 7 meters to go at some point ?
If they changed to meters but stipulated everything remain based on 10 meters , ie 10 meters for a first down...it will force every classic foot ball play to be changed. At 10 meters, vs ten yards...coaches would have to calculate for an extra 33 inches or so. and the field of play enlarged.
