Gwyneth Paltrow is causing controversy again with a statement on her lifestyle website Goop about her belief that water might have feelings.
The 41-year-old actress, who recently split from her husband Chris Martin, endorsed the work of Japanese doctor Masuru Emoto, who has published several books on the theory that human consciousness can change the structure of water.
"I have long had Dr. Emoto's coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water," Paltrow wrote on her blog. "How the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it."

She compared the experience of living through vitriolic Internet commenters to surviving a war.
You come across [online comments] about yourself and about your friends, and its a very dehumanizing thing. Its almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it, she said. My hope is, as we get out of it, well reach the next level of conscience.
I yelled at my bottled water this morning but it yelled back “Oh yeah?? Drink me!”
Weapons grade stupid
I believe she may be a natural blonde.
H2Oh I’m so sad.
Forrest Gump shakes his head.
My water has been acting very cold lately. Just the way I like it.
Author of the Emoto-con ....
Ah, yes..."if only these were brains"...
She's probably thinking about making a vat of heavy water for some purpose? Hmmm....
People like this - in Saudi Arabia - get their servants stoned to death for casting a spell on their husband, or their hot tub, or whatever.
Gwyneth is just here to make the rest of us seem sane.
Yes, water hates it when I use it to rinse off my ass.
Since we’re like 90 something percent water, then .....????
For one who feels so wounded by negative comments, she sure knows how to make stupid statements making her a target of so much wrath...
This void actually works in film. I wonder sometimes how the abysmally stupid learn their lines. Then I thought, well, they must have placards all over the scene being shot—kind of like Boko Haram Hussein Obama does with his teleprompters.
Why is this news?
Is everyone stupid?
I guess they are.
LOL!!! It's probably the only book she's ever read ... errrr... I mean, looked at.
Good Lord, that is one stupid woman, right there.
She should have a seance,to try to make contact with her brain.
Water can be tricky - act negatively toward it and it will sneak up and drown you. :)
She’s essentially a life support system for vagina
Paltrow is one dumb dim-wit.
No wonder her husband took off.
Run away, Chris, run, far, far away.
It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.

Wasn't this the plot from Ghostbusters?
Ill never forget it. I was starting to hike up the red rocks, and honestly, it was as if I heard the rock say, You have the answers. You are your teacher. I thought I was having an auditory hallucination.
The trouble with this woman is that she opens her mouth and speaks. Why doesn’t she just pose for camera shots— and shut up!
————— unless she needs the attention?
“I thought I was having an auditory hallucination.
More like she was having a psychotic episode. Poor thing, she is very cute...but not enough to overcome ditsy.
This twit is lucky that breathing is an automatic body function. She ain’t wired to do it on her own.
Regarding your theory about water, sweetheart, get back to us when you have confirmation from MIT or Cal Tech. And I *do* hope that you don’t find my comment *too* dehumanizing.
Actually, water is a lot weirder than we give it credit for. It also contains a lot of things we seldom think about.
To start with, water is ionized, that is, it usually has minerals dissolved in it. Deionized water has had almost all of its mineral ions removed, such as cations like sodium, calcium, iron, and copper, and anions such as chloride and sulfate.
If you drink it, it goes right through you, and you will even lose some minerals just to get rid of it. Tastes bleh.
Degassed water, on the other hand, is an incredibly good solvent. The gases normally found in it actually prevent things from being dissolved in water. If you used it to clean with, you wouldn’t need soap or detergent. These dissolved gases also make it taste better.
Though “pure” water is typically pH 7.0, changing its pH can result in different affects as to its taste and and use in cooking. Chlorine used to sanitize results in slightly acidic water, and stores now regularly sell alkaline water for whatever reason. The pH can have a strong effect on yeast fermentation, which matters a lot to beer and bread.
The right kind of bacteria, even in purified water, may significantly improve its flavor. For example, even with water purification, significant amounts of nitrates may remain. But these harmless bacteria consume them and release harmless nitrogen gas.
Other good bacteria will compete with harmful bacteria, like E. coli, possibly even rending unsafe water safe.
The electrical properties of water can be enigmatic, but are interesting in the context of all its other peculiarities.
Say goodnight to the folks,Gracie.
Must be she hasn’t had any script offers lately.
How much do you want to bet that she is pro abortion? Water has feelings but unborn babies are just blobs.
Then, she would be twice as smart!..........dumb look...lol
I’ll take her.
Ms. Paltrow, come live with me in my modest hovel. We can take walks together and listen to the rocks.
I am familiar with Emoto’s work and I find it interesting that apparently nobody here seemed to do a search on him or his work. Am no fan of Miss Paltrow. Water is fascinating and enigmatic.
