CA Bill Demands Verbal or Written Consent for Sex on College Campuses
Breitbart ^ | 6/4/14 | Daniel Nussbaum

Posted on 06/05/2014 11:34:11 AM PDT by Lmo56

A newly amended bill from a California lawmaker would require college students to stop in the heat of passion and establish verbal or written consent before having sex anywhere on campus, reports L.A. Weekly.

SB 967, amended last week by state Sen. Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles), would mandate that college students obtain "an affirmative, unambiguous, and conscious decision by each participant to engage in mutually agreed-upon sexual activity."

If verbal - do you also have to have a voice print analysis before engaging ???

If written - does it have to be notarized ???

Sheesh - What a Buzz Kill !!!

I remember it was I believe Antioch College instituted a policy a decade or two ago that one had to have verbal consent before say each step in physical intimacy. Antioch was laughed at back then but it appears they were prophets. Now one needs not just verbal consent but written consent that will stand up in a court proceeding.

I’ve got an idea. Instead of just a piece of paper, they could have a ceremony with all your friends and relatives in attendance. Maybe someone has thought of this before?

I calculated once that I've engaged in sexual intercourse about 3200 times since I've been married. I do not recall ever getting written consent and I can count on the fingers of both hands the number of times I've gotten verbal consent.

The Mrs. and I would be childless and probably celibate if we followed this proposed law.

First lawsuit will be:
He: “You said I could. I’ve got it in writing.”
She: “I was too drunk to provide informed consent.”

Not to disparage true sexual assault (Whoopi Goldberg’s “rape, rape?”) I wonder how many accusations are due to next day recriminations, or even several days later when “he didn’t call, he didn’t text!”

I always hope that, human nature being what it is, some radically rad movement would eventually start up to re-invent marriage. That is, to guarantee mutual, adult consent and shared responsibility in dealing with sexual intercourse and its consequences.

This may be Step One. Rad.

Bet the rule itself is void if homos are involved, or multiple numbers of homos, or anyone even playing "I Am Role-Playing A Transgender For a Day".

For these groups all sex is natural, normal and healthy, of course.

Not that hard to calculate:

  1. First few years: 2-3 times a day.
  2. Eventually deteriorates to 2-3 times per week.
  3. Eventually deteriorates further to 2-3 times per month.

But who's counting? And does it count if you put it in and don't ejaculate? Or ejaculate before you can get it in? :->

D@mn Hypocrites!

1) Did Bill Clinton get written consent from Monica?
2) Did the late Ted Kennedy...aw, h@ll, you know the drill (winces at pun).

And do legislators get *our* written consent before raising our taxes, or railroading through Obamacare?

Say — *there’s* a thought — the blank consent form — you have to “say YES” to find out what’s in it... ;-)

Cheers!

They do have a written agreement that is notarized and filed with the government. It allows for sexual activities as well. It is called a marriage license.

I’m working on diagrams showing sexual positions. It will be on the back of the form. You just check off the positions you will not engage in.

My next project a psych checklist the guy gives to the gal, with a professional sign-off and recommendation.

If you're wealthy, a political target or going through any major business dispute, it's a good idea to take video of the young lady consenting and immediately upload it. Especially if you've never received any prior romantic messages.

Takes about 3 button clicks with a smartphone and it could have saved the lives of many successful men I've seen go down over the years.

LOL! Sound like you have a gem for a wife. I used to be pretty good at doing it in the dark, too. But I need the lights on now to find the right spot. I also need the visual stimulation to go with the tactile stimulation to make sure it stays up-- the problems of age!

Also, loved your post #30. How true!
