Texas state Senator and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, who catapulted to infamy by filibustering a 20-week abortion ban in 2013, is unhappy pro-lifers aren’t letting anyone forget.
Davis has taken out a Facebook ad calling on supporters to sign an “Open Letter Denouncing The “Abortion Barbie’ Attacks,” referring to life size posters that greeted her on May 22 when she came to Hollywood for a celebrity fundraiser.

I don’t understand the problem. The scissors may not have been surgical instruments, but late-term babies are murdered by grabbing and stabbing them just the same. And minority babies are known targets. This is all what Davis stood in her pink shoes trying to protect for 11 hours. Own it, Wendy.
But Davis was not happy, calling the poster all sorts of names: “disgusting… wrong… offensive… vicious personal attacks… insulting… demeaning… degrading” – oh, my.
I have to ask, what exactly is disgusting? Does Davis not know abortion is a bloody hot mess?
EMILY’s List, the pro-abortion PAC that finances the campaigns solely of Democrat pro-abortion women, piled on with even more pejoratives about that which they support:

Wow. She is really quick at replying to things. This was in May and a month later makes a statement. Yep she is swift. Goodness the rate she is going. Once she loses in November, she will make a statement around Christmas.
Is the Emily’s List noted in this article the same as the commercials for Emily’s List consumer networks?
That changes how I thought about the commercials (not Abortion Barbie, vile creature that she is).

The woman who came to prominence leading a shrill mob chanting obscenely and carrying jars of urine and feces to throw at legislators thinks being compared to a doll is “disgusting.”
I think abandoning her husband and children to live a carefree life flitting from one serial dalliance to the next was disgusting.

Thank you for the clarification of my dimwitted memory. I think it was the female name combined with list, and I went in to “oh no, no way am I giving money to them” mode.

Somehow her Facebook as regarding this shied up on my feed. I commented, and I wasn’t nice about it.
You know those men who con their girlfriends to put them through med school and then dump them (I knew one of those females, personally)? Wendy Davis was the female counterpart of that in getting her sugar daddy to put her through the prestigious Harvard Law School and then, dumping him right after that.
She was married to him for about 18 years. When she married him, she was 21, and he was much older (graduated law school in 74, just after Wendy turned 11). I'm hoping he got his money's worth.
I don’t think Miss Wendy will win, but she could be competitive statewide in 2022.
