I’ve found that after about a day and a half hunger goes away. The first day and a half rough though. For me, eating small amounts is the hardest since I am always hungry.

That’s fairly typical. One huge and rarely mentioned benefit of at least a 3 day fast is that the stomach shrinks and afterwards you feel (because you are) full with substantially less intake of food.

Same here...I simply cannot eat small amounts - once I start, I gorge. But eating nothing, that’s easy after a couple of days, just some light reminders from my body that it wants some food, but mild.
