There were no better seats to watch a hockey game than the first few rows of the old Boston Garden balcony. You were literally right on top of the players.......

It was a close game. The Heat were actually winning until about 6 minutes left in the 4th.
Then LeBron got tired. He headed for the showers.
And the Spurs won!
Double plus good loving it!

Just how out of shape and overweight is Lebron?
He looked bad, and it wasn’t just the heat that made him look that way.
Living La Vida Loca on South Beach is catching up with him.

Both teams had to play in the hot conditions including the Spurs who have a bunch of older guys on their team, one would think it would really affect them just as much. Theres no excuse. THIS!

NBA Championship is over. Spurs won by beating OKC Thunder.
Unless something strange and tragic befalls the Spurs, the championship is already over.

Odds are LeBron will be in LA next year. Ballmer is going to go all out to get him.

And the Mavs took the Spurs to 7 games.
Whomever wins I-35, wins the Western Conference.

Poor old fellow. I almost feel sorry for Lebron. In a gesture of goodwill, I'll buy him one of these...

Could be. Somone who pays 3 times the value of a team just to own it is someone stupid enough to hire an aging overweight out of shape superstar.

LeBron never played a pickup game on a 95 degree summer day? Did he break a nail? Sheesh.
To: GQuagmire
To show you how much the game, and everything else, has changed...in the early 60’s if the Rangers goalie Eddie Giacomin hat a shutout...he’d earn a $100 bonus...

Even CBS AM newscasters were wondering how heat can sideline one team but not the other. Perhaps one team knew the AC was going to go out and they prepared for it. Other than that, the NBA can shrivel and die for all I care.

It’s embarrassing. A symptom of decline.

You are proud of Super Bowl blackouts? Makes you want to wave the flag?
It isn’t “leftist” to fondly recall when America was technically competent in its largest showcases.

Why are basketball and ice hockey playoffs happening in June, anyway? For basketball, the only playoffs worth caring about happen in March Madness.

I'm a normal dude, and I completed the
Hotter n' Hell Hundred 7 times with no cramping, taking about 5 1/2 hours each time. Maybe these multi-million dollar teams should just prepare a little better?
