I have a pellet gun to keep away the loud, nasty, bird-killing and bird eating crows and ravens. I can't hit them but they hear the pellets whizzing by.
They kill and eat the robins and humming birds, when they can.

My husband could always hit them. The pellet is very tiny and doesn't kill or injure the birds but they DON'T like it. Now, all I have to do is APPEAR at the window with the pellet gun the the birds just fly away.

Small problem, the pellet gun is shaped like a Dirty Harry gun! The pellet gun scares ME. :o)

We also have an indigenous red tailed hawk. They eat the small rodents. NICE and magnificent birds. The crows and ravens do NOT mess with the hawk.
