First Grader Turns Himself In for Having Toy Gun, Faces Expulsion
Breitbart ^ | 06/06/2014 | UPI

Posted on 06/07/2014 8:31:19 AM PDT by Rusty0604

Darin left his backpack at a friend's house and had to be sent to school with a backup. When he discovered the toy in the bag, knowing it was illegal, Darin turned the contraband into his teacher.

"He found the toy gun on the outside pocket," Darin's father Chris Simak told local reporters. "He took it straight to the teacher and said that he wasn't allowed to have it."

Darin's teacher followed protocol and brought the first grader to the principal, where he was immediately suspended pending an expulsion hearing. According to the school charter, the punishment for bringing a toy weapon to school is expulsion for "a period of not less than one (1) year."

"He did the right thing, and we're trying to teach him the right way," Simak said, "and now they're teaching him the wrong way."

Yup. Teach the little rascals early that you should always, always have an innate fear of inanimate objects. ‘Specially those evil guns. I guess so many people have been brainwashed with that thought in mind that if they see a gun anywhere, they automatically assume something bad is going to happen. Usually not.

“Rules” like this are conditioning little children to revile guns.....it is ‘emotions tied to concepts’.....”operant conditioning” so they will “think” with emotions when adults. It WILL be effective on most children—so they grow up to be complete useful idiots.

No Truth/Facts....that guns are just tools of human beings....no moral component in objects, and that toys are toys. EMOTIONS are used in “education”.

It is to make children irrational (Marxists). (Think with emotions only, devoid of Reason and Wisdom of the Ages.)

Get your kids OUT of these indoctrination/conditioning factories....they CAN NOT be unaffected by the extreme psychologically embedded curricula-—it has been thought up by brilliant evil minds since Wundtian times-—as Bertrand Russell stated in 1950s:

“Education should aim at destroying free will so that after pupils are thus schooled they will be incapable throughout the rest of their lives of thinking or acting otherwise than as their school masters would have wished ... The social psychologist of the future will have a number of classes of school children on whom they will try different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black. When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for more than one generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen.” -——Bertrand Russell quoting Johann Gottlieb Fichte, the head of philosophy & psychology who influenced Hegel and others – Prussian University in Berlin, 1810

They are teaching him that the State is all powerful, all knowing, and never wrong. That laws can be applied arbitrarily, at the whims of the enforcer. That there is no excuse from the law. That you are guilty until proven guilty. That you have no free will, no choice, no ability to make decisions. That certain thoughts are taboo, and are forbidden under severe penalties, even if you didn’t want to have those thoughts but someone said you did.

Here’s another example:

“School Sunscreen Ban Causes 10-Year-Old Girl To Get FRIED On Field Trip”

“Typically, sunscreen is a toxic substance,” Chancellor told the Fox affiliate, “and we can’t allow toxic things in to be in our schools.”

The district spokeswoman argued that allowing kids to handle sunscreen is a very risky thing to do.

“They could possibly have an allergic reaction [or] they could ingest it. It’s really a dangerous situation,” Chancellor said.

I attended an extremely liberal high school. Every year we would play a game, based on a movie, called the assassination game. It went on for weeks, and involved walking around school with a dart gun. I had a simple pistol...some guys had very realistic guns with magazines of small nerf bullets. It was alot of fun.

Thirty years ago - it never even crosser our minds that a toy gun may be inappropriate. Things are moving at warp speed.

I remember carrying squirt guns in school. I also carried a pocket knife (and still do).

I never got in trouble in school, and was a fairly good student. In this day and age, however, I’d no doubt be expelled for some stupid excuse.

This will go in his permanent school record, and he will probably referred to psychotherapy, and be prescribed anti-psychotic drugs that will fry his brain. It’s not as far fetched as it sounds. It’s the standard MO of militant government school lackeys.

I grew up playing with the coolest Toy Guns, an M1 that looked almost real and a BLACK Tripod Mounted Machine Gun to name a couple. Both were battery operated and I was the go to “Arms Dealer” for the Kids on my block.

When I was eight, my Dad got me a bolt action .22 and a single shot 410 Shotgun, which I kept in my Bedroom Closet.

Somehow, someway, I managed to reach the ripe old age of 60 without harming a soul. I’m not sure what happened to the Country I grew up in, but this story really tells us how screwed up it has become.

As I was watching one of the D Day specials on TV last night, I found myself finding out things I never knew about it. The treasure lost and how all that planning actually fell apart when the wheels were set in motion. Even with all that, we prevailed thanks to the Bravery of Young Men thrust into a living Hell.

My Father was in the S. Pacific serving in the Navy during the Invasion of Iwo Jima. He was on a Navy Tug that pulled disabled Landing Craft off the Beach while under enemy fire. I think of what he went through and then I think of the sacrifices made by all those young men, all the while surveying the current state of affairs. It saddens me.

Sorry if I’m a bit of topic, but like many of us here, I see our way of life disappearing before my eyes with the support of a majority of the Electorate. WTH happened?

This isn’t about common sense. This is about indoctrinating and entire generation to believe guns are inherently bad, and people that possess them must be punished. In about 20-25 years the Democrats will have the mandate they need to completely outlaw firearms. Sure, some of these kids will still be exposed to the positive side of guns, but a large majority, who aren’t routinely exposed to guns will provide the leverage they need. My only hope is, as the kids get older, they are attracted to the fruit of the forbidden tree.

In high school before Veterans’ Day we trooped into the building bearing our dads’ WWII souvenir rifles, bayonets, swords, German helmets, & set up a display in a trophy case in the library! (1965)

I used to board airliners & hand my cased shotgun to the stewardess to place in the hanging closet. (1967)

Carried two rifles I brought from Vietnam in a golf bag down the airport concourse. (1972)

Opened my suitcase packed with handguns in U.S. customs; they looked at the BATF form & waved me through. (1982)

Isn’t progress wonderful?

Zero tolerance policies are passed so school boards and officials don’t have to suffer the burden of discernment and common sense. The poor child was already sufficiently re-educated to know he was carrying contraband and turn himself in. Now international social media disdain will fall upon the feckless officials, who richly deserve it.

I wonder if the moron principal called the ATF and the FBI so that they could do a midnight raid on the kids house, arrest him and want him to spend the rest of his life in prison. An added bonus for the ATF would be that there was a dog to kill in front of the child, we all know how dangerous a 4 pound dog can be when the ATF is in fear of their lives.

I am NOT defending the teacher, but I cannot help but wonder what could happen to her if she had not reported the toy gun? Most teachers are not mean, but they are under tremendous pressure if they want to keep their jobs. My daughter started college majoring in elementary education; I don’t know what all they told them, but she dropped out of school even though she had a 3.9 GPA.

It’s not madness or idiocy, it is the FACT that otherwise conservative parents are putting their kids into the hands of flaming liberals.

I’ve said in the past and I’ll say it again. Parents need to teach their kids to NEVER trust an adult in authority (at least regarding teachers and social workers). The kids need to understand that they MUST LIE in some cases to prevent being separated from their parents.

In this case, the kid needed to be told (prior) something to the effect that if you have anything you should have at school (maybe an aspirin, or a toy gun, or even a real gun), NEVER tell anyone, just bury it as far down in your backpack as possible and don’t even think about it until you get home.

As I told my kids, when they were younger, if they wanted to complain to others about being spanked, they will get a BRAND NEW set of parents - that simple. If they say ANYTHING negative about mom or dad, same thing, new parents. While that may be an exaggeration now (maybe), it’s likely to be the case in the near future.

Bottom line - KIDS MUST LIE today, because we have way too many flaming liberals that are doing all they can to ruin the lives of kids, especially if they come from what they perceive to be “privileged households”.

If I understand education law correctly, just because a school district expels a student that doesn’t mean they no longer have the responsibility to spend resources to provide for his/her education. In Minnesota, for example, “•The district is responsible to provide the student with alternate education services during the expulsion/exclusion period.”

So, the parents should be able to provide their children an alternate education at state expense.

It would be great in this district if the parents combatted this silly ruling by having ALL the little kids pack a toy gun in their backpacks. Will the school expel EVERYONE?

Then they still have to pay for the education with the taxes you’ve already paid in.
