BREAKING: Cleveland Clinic CEO Cosgrove says no to VA post

This has been an extraordinarily difficult decision, but I have decided to withdraw from consideration from this position and remain at the Cleveland Clinic, due to the commitment I have made to the organization, our patients and the work that still needs to be done here," Cosgrove said in the statement.
Cosgrove, 73, has been at the Clinic since 1975 and has been CEO since 2004. He has helped it become one of the world's leading academic medical centers and has emerged as a leading voice on national health care policy matters
