Pupils from Payhembury Primary, a Church of England elementary school in a small village in Devon, south-west England, are to be taken on a trip to London so they can meet people who are not white.
Inspectors from the education regulatory body Ofsted decided not to upgrade the school from “good” to “outstanding” because it was not sufficiently “multicultural.”
In response the headmistress of the school, which consists of 68 white pupils, has organized a two-day trip to a school in London where three-quarters of the pupils are from ethnic minorities. Parents will be asked to pay £35 ($64) to cover the cost of the trip.

It was either going to see the natives in their natural environment or go to the zoo.

If they want to do it right, take them a few thousand miles south deep into the Congo to a cannibal village. I am certain the survivors would learn something.
Yes, but what is “white”? After all, Bill Clinton, who looks white, was called the first black president by a Nobel Laureate poet, Tony Morrison in none other than the New Yorker.
Given that Barack Obama’s mother was Caucasian and his father was far more African Arab than Negro, by percentage alone, he should also be “white”. He certainly is The Man, and The Man is the head of the power establishment and the power establishment has all the privilege, so by his power rating he also should be “white”. But clearly he is not, so what, exactly is “white”?
Given that wealthy liberals complain about being white but never give their wealth, fancy homes or expensive cars away, then “white” must be something else than skin color.
But if we observe the common factors and where all the complaints seem to spontaneously converge almost every time this topic comes up, I really get the impression that in this context, “white” is really conservative Christian Anglo Saxon. And since anyone, of any skin color who happens to be conservative Christian also gets painted with the same color brush (so to speak), then it is far more about those who have conservative Christian values than about anything having to do with race.
In short, it should be plain that “white” is the liberal dog whistle for anyone who advocates all of God’s values, and by all I include those Commandments that protect property and thus destroy socialism: lies, coveting and theft.
...so they can meet islamists who want to cut their throats.
Wonder if they’ll plan a field trip to go find people that aren’t liberal and full of guilt?
My own method of meeting people who are not white is to turn on the NBA finals.
These kind of trips used to be called safaris.
Having been practically a minority growing up, I wonder where my field trips to white American schools were.
