Illegal immigrants are reportedly signaling federal officials to detain them once they are near the U.S.-Mexico border, as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have declared they may not pursue all illegal immigrants who do not show up for hearings after they enter the country.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Yoselin Ramos, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala who was with "20 other families with children," actually "had looked forward to being caught," telling the outlet that "at one point even waving down federal helicopters — because of the welcoming treatment they had assumed they would receive."
In their home countries south of the border, reports have been circulating that illegal immigrants, especially those with children, will be allowed to stay in the United States "indefinitely." Ramos said she decided to make the trek to the United States after hearing reports "that parents will not be detained in the U.S. if they arrive with a child."
Ramos was sent to stay with her family in Iowa. And the Houston Chronicle reported that another illegal immigrant said he considered the papers ICE gave him to be a "permit" to remain in the United States. That illegal immigrant was sent to stay with family in North Carolina.
Though these illegal immigrants said they intended to show up to their hearings, there is no guarantee ICE is willing or even has the resources to track them down if they do not show up.

Most people here do not know that Mexican immigration law automatically deputizes ANY citizen of Mexico to effect arrests of people they suspect of being illegal aliens.
Yes, you can be a Guatemalan adult transiting Mexico and end up arrested by a 5 year old —legally possible.

The Cantor election will likely put ‘the fear of God’ into some RATS as well. They may well ‘buck’ Obama on this push as well. At least they know what issue fires up the voters now ...
This is utterly out of control. And I heard many more headed for border.
They are trying to accomplish a demographic conquest, even if many of those illegals aren't educated enough to realize it. So far this plan are pretty successful.
In many cases such a conquest ends up with an ethnic cleansing. See Kosovo as an example. Note that as more and more foreign citizens settle in the USA, the louder their voice becomes. Eventually they will gain direct legal power; but they already are free to march in the streets with political demands for the US government. Even if those who cross the border today are honest family people, driven by poverty and cartels' crime, they are just cannon fodder for future conflicts. I recommend to study the conflict in Ukraine very closely, there are many relevant parallels.

I’m so sick of this. The American people have been begging and pleading since the Clinton administration, at least, for this to stop. Instead it only continues, with the equivalent of a red carpet and brass band welcoming illegals at the border. This HAS to stop. Millions of Americans just have to take off work and storm the White House. Damn it, this is our HOME. We have (or should have) the right to decide who comes here and who doesn’t. No American voted for this outrage. It’s RUINING our country and it’s going to make life a total misery for our children and grandchildren.
Every politician responsible for this should hang.
The big money corporations WANT cheap labor. They want the Hispanics coming in working off the books at that (no social security, workers comp, etc.).
Dems want them here to brown out whitey and to have future voters. First generation Hispanics work. Second generation are in gangs jail and welfare in % close to the blacks.
So middle class Americans are screwed.
