White House To Trade For Release of Eric Cantor (R-VA)

The White House today announced that it has negotiated a trade for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA).

In exchange for the return of Cantor to the House of Representatives, Democrats have agreed to expel Debbie Wasserman-Shultz (D-FL), Maria Cantwell (D-WA), Patty Murray (D-WA), Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX), and Maxine Waters (D-CA).

Observers remarked on the fact that Democrats traded five women in exchange for one man, hinting that the so-called War on Women was really worth five women to one man. "We can do better than this," said former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "Under my leadership, no women were lost in Benghazi or anywhere else."

Also, the Congressional Black Caucus had concerns about the trading of Congresswomen Waters and Jackson-Lee, saying "We are pleased that Ms. Lee and Ms. Waters are seen as being equally as valuable as our colleagues Senators Cantwell and Murray. However, a Democrat staffer told us, on condition of anonymity because he didn't want to be called a racist, that Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi originally offered up Hank Johnson (D-GA) instead of Rep. Wasserman-Schultz, but that was rejected because it would be a trade of three African-Americans out of five for one White Republican male.

Regarding the trade, Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) said "We think this is a generous offer from our friends across the aisle. For too long, we have been holding each other hostage to special interests. It's about time that we move past the issues that divide us, and work towards finding common ground that is in the best interests of all Americans." When reminded by an aide that this was not about amnesty for illegal aliens, but that Majority Leader Cantor had lost his primary election, Speaker Boehner was heard yelling...

Depends how you define women.

A woman is pleasing, alluring...

They were also afraid it could possibly capsize the island.

Great funny stuff, PJ. And wait until it comes out that Cantor had walked away from his Conservative Platoon to consort with the enemy. He’s a lousy deserter. We give them 5 big Progresso guns, and get one back - bad deal.
