Coca-Cola is launching its first new drink in eight years: Coca-Cola Life.
Sporting a green label, the new drink is said to contain a third less calories and sugar, according to the Daily Mail.
It will be sweetened with sugar and stevia leaf extract and will only have 89 calories.
Despite the reduction of sugar and the green label (because adding a green label means it’s natural), Coca-Cola Life will still contain 25 percent of the amount of sugar a person should consume in one day in just one can. Coca-Cola said this new drink is part of an initiative for people to lead healthier lives.
According to Metro, Coca-Cola Life will pilot in Argentina and Chile and then be sold in the United Kingdom in September.

Healthy Coke?? I don’t drink oxymorons. I drink Diet Coke. I want all my required chemicals and preservatives for each day in one can.
This sounds like a joke.
All of the sugar substitutes taste like crap. Stevia is no exception. however if the cut it with real sugar and it tastes like a regular cole then I will buy it. But I will not grow to like it like saccharine, aspartame, or neotame.

There hasn’t been sugar in Coke for years. Its all high fructose corn syrup.

The Coke Museum has samples of the different flavors sold around the world. Some of that stuff is nasty.
You haven't tried xylitol, have you? I use it, and can't tell any taste difference from sugar.

The only 'regular' Coke we ever purchase is Kosher Coke, there's a K in a circle on top of the cap, and is made with cane sugar. And if you dare it, the Coke made in Mexico is still made with cane sugar and widely available.
