Along with 3 billion other viewers around the world, I plan to tune in for the month-long World Cup to see whether the 22-year old Neymar can withstand the colossal pressure that has been put upon his shoulders to deliver a win for team Brazil.
Every time I turn on my television set, Im using World Cup-related energy. And thats just the start. Flying in teams, trainers, equipment, World Cup personnel and the estimated 500,000-plus fans will use enormous volumes of jet fuel.

I’ll help reduce some of it by not watching.
I’ll save some of mine by not even thinking about it.
If you would be watching something else on tv instead the marginal energy use is zero.
I will watching the USA and the World Powers when they play.
I would be watching some basic cable tv shows instead.
Bu-bye Murder in the First & Catch and Hold Fire.
If we banned the broadcasts in the United States, the illegals would self-deport.
About the same amount of energy consumed by Al Gore’s house?
Whatever the # is, it’s nothing compared to what Pelosi and Gore use!
