Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio has taken over one of the world's largest superyachts in order to watch the World Cup in style. DiCaprio and more than 20 friends are said to have taken over the 482-foot Topaz, worth £400million, while staying in Brazil for the football tournament. The yacht is owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emitates and owner of Manchester City FC.

Sounds like doctors have his latest case of rectal syphilis under control.
I thought Leo was such a huge environmentalist?
Wealthy liberal Hollywood idiots exempt themselves from the regulations they wish to impose on the rest of us.
He sd be waiting on tables
The Topaz is 482 feet.
The Pacific Princess from Love Boat fame was 550.
How can you “party” on an Islamic-owned yacht? No booze, no weed, no virgins... < /sarc >
If youre loudly green, you can have a carbon footprint the size of Godzillas.
Free copies of his global warming documentary will be distributed to all guests.
Nice boat, Leo. Sorry about your
I would not go to that suit hole ever.
Honestly, why does anyone care what these Hollyweird freaks do?
Let’s cut ole Leo some slack. I mean, do we really know for sure that this yacht doesn’t use LED lighting? That would reduce its energy footprint.
Also, Leo wants to save the earth. I’ve never heard him mention anything about saving the sea.
The guy has the bread, so what?
The person and work of Hollywood actors is vested with a power of persuasion over as many as view their image and participate vicariously (even if only imaginatively) in their acting. So, actors and actresses thereby are “famous.” They become an avenue whereby anyone who sees them in person gains a privilege others do not have, namely contact with someone whose person and work are shared by masses.
The power of persuasion with which actors and actresses are imbued causes great numbers of people to part with their personal substance, which is to say they literally pay for the privilege of watching the actor and participating vicariously. As a result, the actors/actresses are inclined to isolate themselves, perhaps to maintain the aura of godlike qualities, but also to use their wealth for excessive self-gratification. The word for this is “idolatry.”
The Creator warns against this, and is not like this, but invites all to know Him; the One Who created all things. And so it happens, as the Creator enters into our low estate to suffer and die for our sakes in Christ Jesus, Mary is inspired by the Holy Spirit to say:
51He has done mighty deeds with His arm;
He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.
52He has brought down rulers from their thrones,
And has exalted those who were humble.
53HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS;
And sent away the rich empty-handed.
54He has given help to Israel His servant,
In remembrance of His mercy . . . (Luke 1)
Actors, actresses, and all who enter into the estate of being human, do well to be mindful of these things. This is what the Church teaches, being endowed with the Holy Spirit, Whose work has not ceased from the time He hovered over the first waters of Creation. Honestly.
easy, there are plenty of goats and camels on board.
Surrounded by polluted endangered waters, he went down with the ship in "Titanic"....and is now eminently qualified as an expert on saving the oceans....and this great oceanographer is currently embarking on lecturing gigs to educate us dumb landlubbers living high and dry across the fruited plain.
Reminds me of Meryl Streep, the great scientist and expert chemist when it comes to insecticides and chemical sprays.
She was called upon to tesify before Congress on Alar, a chemical spray she dramatically warned would devastate agriculture....and would hasten the end of the world.
Of course, she ended up looking like a dumbass after her expert testimony helped to devastate the U.S. apple-growing industry....and, after the millions-of-dollars-of-damage was done, her whole schtick was scientifically shown to be a total hoax and deliberate scare promoted by her friends in the eco-nazi industry.
What were Streep's scientific qualifications to be such an educated food and chemical expert? Answer: she played famous chef Julia Child in a movie....and Julie, of course, worked with food, and maybe even baked an apple pie in the film.
See ya at the movies!
Reminds me a bit of Sheryl Crow [sp?] who proposed that folks use just one square piece of toilet paper when addressing the rearguard... ?starting with her...?
This bozo is far from good-looking.
And what’s with the greasy hair?
