I’m sure this perfectly natural (and unavoidable) occurrence will be factored into the Global Warming Alarmist statistics for 2014.

Not.

With my front porch being only twenty miles from the summit, last night was simply spectacular!

That will just drop a bit more ash on the vineyards to give them that special Mt Etna flavor. The Etna Rosso’s are my favorites. Etna erupts almost annually.

RE: Quick! Plug it up! All that CO2! Oh noes!

The CO2 emitted by Etna is way overshadowed by the emissions from Sicilians burning brush and scrub across the island (bunch of pyromaniacs).

Due to the prevailing winds that very rarely happens. Catania Airport yes, Sigonella, no.

Not.

Sure it will. It will simply be re-labeled "Motor vehicle emissions".

Where does all the CO2 in volcano eruptions come from?

I was stationed near there decades ago. You used to be able to drive most of the way up, walk the rest to the top crater and look down inside. There was a hotel, restaurant and shops at the upper most parking area...all gone now, I think. I think there was a funicular going up to the top that’s probably gone too. The surrounding area looked like a lunar landscape.
