Thousands of foreign fighters have gone to Iraq and Syria, where civil war is raging. Many have Twitter and Instagram accounts which they use to document a personal view of life on the ground as a jihadi.
Many of these fighters are believed to have travelled from the UK, with others coming from European countries. The location of the following people cannot be confirmed definitely, but all claim to be in Iraq or Syria.

In the past several days there have been some fascinating exchanges between Freepers regarding their experiences with Muslims. The ones I’ve dealt with in college and my 30 years of professional life seem to have no regard for cause and effect. One commenter said that was because they believe Allah is constantly recreating the universe moment by moment so there is no relation. Others related experiences where Muslims reacted unpredictably and, to us, irrationally. (I’ve experienced a few of those.) But, probably, all of these reactions get back to a world view that is special to the Koran and relevant to life in the ninth century. To quote from a Freeper thread “we are so screwed.”
