A man was held up by a robber with scissors for his slice of pizza in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood Friday night, police said.
The 31-year-old victim was walking down the street near Jasper and Green streets around 9:40 p.m. Friday when a man believed to be in his mid 30s held him up with a pair of scissors, police said.
The suspect demanded that the victim hand over his slice of pizza and he complied.
The victim then went home uninjured and the suspect got away with the slice, according to police.
That happened in Houston and she was found guilty. Stiletto was 5 1/2 inches long and she stabbed him at least 25 times in the face and head. He was a professor at the University of Houston and had bought the $1,500 shoes for her as a gift. I can’t imagine anyone spending that kind of money for a pair of shoes, let alone a college professor. No wonder college tuition is so high if UofH can pay profs enough to be able to afford gifts like that.
Seems like the DA even had the shoe in court as evidence and it still had the guys blood and hair from his head on the spike.
A slice I probably give up. A whole pie may be worth a fight.

Also, they call some heels stiletto heals. A stiletto is a knife specifically made for stabbing. So, I guess her instincts had some basis in language.

North Beach is not the nicest part of town at night. I wouldn't go down there at night for ANY reason.
North Beach DOES, however, have some great pizza places. Mmmmm, it does sound good. I'll get a piece of pizza tomorrow!

OBVIOUSLY the store folks are PANDERING to women and their idea of "power" accessories. It's SUCH a crock and too many young women are suckers for that stupid, inane and STUPID (needs repeating) and sales pitch.

That’s funny. I bet all of the guys in the courtroom during this trial made a note to themselves to never buy any female they are involved with anything other than a pair of fluffy bedroom slippers. Apparently he was quite drunk, lost his balance, fell to the floor, she jumped on top of him and the attack began. Maybe he told her he wasn’t going to buy her any more high heels. Who knows.
Interesting that she was only sentenced to life in prison and there wasn’t prolonged press coverage about it. Maybe because she was from Mexico and English was her second language. Obama will probably pardon her when his term is up.
