Roger Stevens actually wrote,

“You can’t roller skate in a buffalo herd,
“You can’t change film with a kid on your back,
“You can’t go fishing in a watermelon patch,
“But you can be happy if you’ve a mind to,

“All you gotta do is set yourself to it,
“Buckle down, knuckle down, do it, do it, do it!

And so on....

But fixing really good roast chicken? Not so difficult.

;^)

Not only chickens, but it’s also ILLEGAL to wash eggs in Europe.

Roger Miller. Not to be confused with Ray Stevens. :)

There are recipes for cooking in your dish washer. Not kidding.

I’ve heard of that, but haven’t seen them.

Back in the ‘60s, when working at a major defense contractor, some of the workers commuted in car pools from 75-100 miles away. ....They would put foil wrapped steak/chicken and a potato on the car’s manifold. At lunch time, they would retrieve their fully cooked meals from the parking lots.

You need to be “hen pecked” for that one!

May you be plucked and “cluck”holded!

You should be a”roostered” and sent to the chicken pen!

If you like your washed chicken, you can keep it. Period.
