Whoa, I've been banned at FR since...what was it, 2011?
I take a glance at FR to see if there are any interesting articles posted, and it says I have mail, which I don't think I had access to. No messages to me from FR. But when I go to post, no more rude comment informing me my posting privileges are revoked.
Was there a general amnesty or something? I was banned (apparently) for my stubborn backing of the the eventual 2012 GOP Presidential nominee.

Yes, when it became clear that the choice in 2012 was between a RINO who would damage the country and a Marxist who would destroy the country, it was OK to support RINO Romney and people stopped getting banned.

After he won the nomination your man came out for abortion again, and against the GOP pro-life platform AND CLAIMED THAT HE HAD OPENLY CAMPAIGNED ON THOSE POSITIONS and reaffirmed his gay Boy Scout leader position, and he ran pro-choice ads in Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and managed to lose an election that he couldn’t lose, against Carter’s second term.

I’ve gotten to the point that when it comes to a choice on which cultural/national destructionist to pick from the approved lists, I, generally, prefer the D to end up wearing it.
Picking an R, just to have the R, even when it’s just gonna be more D crap... doesn’t make any sense to me, any more.
Even on issues like SCOTUS picks. It’s not like the entire thing isn’t imploding, and there’s no real hope in hell for a peaceful solution anyway after so much destructionism and flat out refusal to honor oath of office, anyway.
