The woman I saw on tv tonight said she hasn’t seen her kids in 8 years. That means she came here and left them in Guatemala when they were 7 and 2 years old.
I suppose that displays a different type of Family Values that what we would generally expect. Maybe one has to consider how bad the economy and gang warfare is in these Central American countries. But that still should not obigate us into taking a fresh dumping of over a million untrained, UNVACINNATED, illiterate people in the middle of a recession.
