Swiss saved the penalty, wow. And the French should have batted the rebound in actually. Still, Swiss are down 2-0, 33rd minute.
France looks scary good.
France looks very stronge and fast
So France is beating the Albanian National Team aka The Swiss National Team.
FIFA says Humberto Clavijo will not be in referee Wilmar Roldan's team for South Korea vs. Algeria in Porto Alegre on Sunday.
Clavijo will be replaced by Christian Lescano of Ecuador, according to FIFA's website.
Team | P | W | D | L | +/- | Pts | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1. | Costa Rica | 2 | 2 | 0 | 0 | +3 | 6 |
2. | Italy | 2 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 3 |
3. | Uruguay | 2 | 1 | 0 | 1 | -1 | 3 |
4. | England | 2 | 0 | 0 | 2 | -2 | 0 |
Except now you can. Greg Dyke, FA chairman, confirmed it.
“England expects”.
To finish last in its group.
Englands captain was terrible against Uruguay but he is only playing at this World Cup because no one better has come along
Honduras is the one to question but I watched their game; they were spirited and not all that dirty imho. I was really hoping Honduras could win over Ecuador because Honduras’ last game is versus Switzerland, in the other, Ecuador vs. France, it seems like a long shot that Ecuador can win that, perhaps a draw if France is resting players, 1 point and Honduras getting a result against Switzerland could send Ecuador through.
I guess in group E: Technically Honduras may still be alive. The Swiss and Ecuador both have 3 points.

Not that any of these teams are my team. I do enjoy the spectacle, cheering for one team, maybe an underdog and so forth.
Yes, Costa Rica are awesome. Big Congrats to CR.
Of all things, I listened to sports radio and they talked about the USA Portugal game. They said according to oddsmakers, USA is a slight underdog in that game.
Still, I looked at other gambling websites, I’m not a gambler myself and they seem to think USA chances are good.

I think since Portugal isn’t at full-strength, the USA should be able to take this match straight-up. 2-1.
