The Secretary of Homeland Security, along with senior officials from the the White House, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of Defense and Health and Human Services will visit Customs and Border Protection facilities in Texas on Friday.
The trip was announced as the area continues to struggle with thousands of unaccompanied children flowing across the border from Central and South America

Texas will send security forces, obama will send lawyers
Yeah, now we know how to get their attention. Have state governors call up the militia. You know they didn’t want to see that happen.
Of course that doesn’t mean they are going to give in.
Headline on Drudge yesterday quoted Obama as saying that they couldn’t stay. But then you know what Joe Wilson observed about Obama.
Rick Perry should hold an emergency press conference where he expresses deep regret over reports that several border crossers were shot by Texas Rangers and buried deep in the desert, and promise to get to the bottom of it. He can then follow up with additional press releases every other day about reports of other incidents, where migrants are being shot by the dozens.
After a month of this, he can announce quietly that the matter has been investigated, and there was nothing to it, that the reports were false, and nobody was shot. But in the mean-time, the rumor pump South of the border will have been primed, and people will believe that the Americans are shooting people on sight and burying them in the desert.
Get that rumor mill working to our advantage for a change!
With who's coming it sounds more like they are going to set up relief {cough cough welcome and disbursement into other communities} stations.
As the article implies, it is not Mexicans but central america people crossing, with an occasional mideast terrorist now and then.

I’ve seen the same vehicles , tan and green paint themes , going both directions on I-20 ,in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama . The gun truants covered with a black tarp .

They are not coming for the “american dream” they are coming for free $hit and lots of it. They are just common thieves... no need to sugar coat any of it. Thieves and nothing more. Stealing from your pockets and taking the well being of your family from your grasp.
They musta had some real powerful Pogo sticks to jump from their border in one leap to here and not set foot in Mexico.
Mid easterners are migrating to Mexico, learning Spanish, then coming over our border. One of the border town’s tv stations ran a story about what the border patrol is finding there. Prayer rugs, korans, and other trappings of islam. It wasn’t hard to find. I found it on their website. But that news never makes it past the border check points. You never see such news even in the big cities of Texas. The feds have done an outstanding job of keeping information from getting out of the border area.
