Question for the day: Can you flummox a lummox?
well there is a guy running it today who seems far more organized. At 8 am there were STILL about 12 people in front of us [we asked the guy at the head of the line what time he got there and he said 6;45 am!] in line. The USPS employee in charge today [my guess is they take turns manning the passport ofc side] took the names of the first ten people who elected to stay and wait their turn and gave the rest of us the option to return. So we will go back at 11:30 am. i live 2 min from the Merrifield PO, so this was convenient to be able to come back home to wait. I am hopeful this will be more orderly and efficient, but we will see.
i like words that SOUND interesting. Another of my favorites is FESTOON.

xsboy was awakened this AM, he said, by some drilling right outside his window. He asked me what the drilling sound was, i said um... a woodpecker. He said it went all around the house at various points, drilling.
