Hello RD . . . the birds deposit Chile Petin seeds all over my 1 acre garden, they come up everywhere. I make a pepper sauce vinegar with them, Hubby loves to shake it on cabbage and broccoli. I also put a few in Chili and such.
Chili Vinegar:
1 clean malt vinegar bottle with a shaker spout.
About 1 inch of Chile Petins in bottle.
Pour hot white vinegar over peppers and fill to the top.
Let sit a couple of weeks and you’ve got a great hot vinegar sauce . . . Enjoy!
Love to Miss C. . . . we miss you guys.
Forgive me, I was a bit slow, But I figured out where we know each other from. Just slap me once or twice, but no more than that!
C sends love back and we really miss being there and seeing our Hill Country family.
Thanks for the recipe, too.
