A mother is in jail after she allegedly drove home from a neighborhood pool with six children riding on top of her car because she didn't want their wet swimsuits to ruin her upholstery.
Kisha Young, 39, of Crowley, Texas was arrested after having the children - four of which were hers and two of which were a friend's - ride on the roof and the trunk of her Chevy Malibu for the short ride back home after swimming at the local pool, reports CBS DFW.

ya only do that to dogs, eh Willard ???
I’m confused...what did she do wrong?
ohmygoodness! Thanks for posting this awful, yet LOL funny story.
I am very sorry for the child that was airlifted to the hospital and the others, of course, but this was quite a tale.
If it was really THAT close, they could have just walked home.
That would have been fun! We sat on open tailgates, and our parents rode on running boards. Having a mother named “Kisha” would have ruined us.
Leather?.....Kisha?.....driving with kids on the roof? To keep the faux leather in the Hyunda dry?
Really? Wanna bet she has a credit score of 400 and an 8yr lease.
I’m sure this seemed like a good idea to her at the time.
When Young finally circled back and realized the children were injured and needed medical attention. The most seriously injured child had to be taken by Careflight to a hospital in Fort Worth and remains hospitalized with a serious head injury.Witnesses in the neighborhood were astonished to see Young driving with the kids - ages eight to 14 - on the outside of the vehicle, and were even more shocked when four of the children were flung from the car after Young took a sharp turn. As the children laid injured in the street, Young kept on driving, apparently unaware that the kids had fallen off the vehicle.
Yes, she is "Amish"...
If that happened to me when I was 10, I would have considered her a fun, awesome Mom.
Where did the Hyundai come from?
The link talks about a Chevy Malibu.
Until you were flung off in the street when she went around the corner too fast.
Honestly, kids fault for not hanging on. Damn video games. In the 70s I can tell you with some certainty kids new how to hang on to a car roof.
Wait, wait, don't tell me...let me guess.
I like the sound of Hyundai. I think Chevy Cobalt sounds even better, but they aren’t made any longer and I don’t think leather was an option either.
That LifeLine helicopter ride to the trauma center would be a real fun trip. The paramedics would probably give you a popsicle with morphine.
Oh for goodness sakes! Make those kids ride in the trunk like my dad made me.
“This is the special childrens section of the car.”
“It looks kind of dark, Dad.”
“No....see how this light is on?”
I let all the air out of his spare tire.
In Crowley, a town full of losers, Kisha is known as “the loser”.
I guess it’s always better to make a witty reply than to click through to the full article.
