The Federal Communications Commission plans to issue the largest fine in its history against C.T.S. Technology Co., Limited, a Chinese electronics manufacturer and online retailer, for allegedly marketing 285 models of signal jamming devices to U.S. consumers for more than two years. Signal jammers are radio frequency transmitters that intentionally block, jam, or interfere with authorized communications, such as cellphone calls, GPS systems, Wi-Fi networks, and first responder communications. It is a violation of federal law to market, sell, import, or use a signal jammer in the United States and its territories, except in very limited circumstances involving federal law enforcement.

This is terrible. I can't believe this Chinese company would sell something so dangerous. Hey where can I get a few of these things?

They should tell the FedMob that their hard drive crashed and they have no record of ever importing or selling any jammers. IOWs them the Feds to “jam it!”

Signal jammers present a direct danger to public safety, potentially blocking the communications of first responders. your communications from monitoring by police or the DHS

Fixed it.

If you have your own FM transmitter and knew that the other radio was tuned to a particular station, you could overwhelm his signal and make his radio play Chopin or Mantovani Strings or THE CARPENTERS... and that should pretty much do it for the day...

Gotta love the internet.

If it weren’t so terrible and could potentially interfere with the police state we are living in I might could be looking to order some of these things. But it’s just terrible terrible terrible. There are going to be lots of these at the bottom of lakes with a lot of guns.

Many years ago while traveling through Wisconsin I heard ...

“I'm on Top of the World”

... in a polka.

Let's just say that I had a new threat against my teenagers.

It looks like the purpose of this thing is to nullify the effectiveness of a GPS tracker placed on your car.

Of course. So they can jam our communications and lord it over the citizenry. So sick of the power this renegade government has arrogated to itself.
