A car carrying 11 people rammed into a camel in Saudi Arabia and overturned off the road, killing eight and injuring the remaining passengers.
The car was moving on a motorway in the southern Asir province when the driver was caught off guard by a camel crossing over.
The vehicle hit the camel and veered off the road before overturning, Sabq newspaper said, quoting a police spokesman.
Six passengers died on the spot while two died on the way to hospital
the other three suffered from medium to serious injuries, the spokesman said without mentioning what happened to the camel.
Car? Looks like a small pickup. Wonder how many were riding in the back?
So what happened to the camel?
Most likely they had sex with it. Dead or alive.
The need stricter camel control now!
I think that camel got smoked.
And it sounds just like this!
Now I can’t decide if I want to open a tire store in Saudi Arabia — or a shop that sells those white nighties that everybody wears.
At least they didn’t kill themselves intentionally driving their car recklessly like these Saudis when drifting.
(WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO!!)
But have ever seen Saudi sandal surfing? Hilarious!
Or watch them change tires while traveling on two wheels!
This is how they drive their cars through rivers.
And how they shoot elephant guns.

If you look carefully, I think you can see what's left of it's nose on the ground...
Saudi Arabia, huh? Well,... can’t blame it on a woman driver.....
Gee, think how bad the rates would be in Iraq and Iran if the people were allowed to drink alcohol!
Fairly common. Hitting them is a nightmare. It’s like hitting a moose.
Long spindly legs so that the mass comes right through the windshield, unlike a deer which tends to end up on the bumper or hood.
And you see them wandering all along the highways feeding.
It wanted to kill some terrorists...

A local animal refuge had one that was raised with kindness and training, it was a really sweet animal. I can’t blame them for often being nasty creatures, considering how they are treated most of the time.
I recall as newspaper in Montana describing one accident as ‘Moose Vs Mazda’.
Pickups that size and fitted with a cover over the back were used in East Africa as "bush taxis" called "Matatus" (the Swahili word means '30 cents', the original fare).
I have personally ridden in one with 28 passengers and have seen them with at least 35 passengers.
