Is this Obama’s ‘malaise’ moment?

Malaise is back.

President Barack Obama’s situation is getting perilously close to President Jimmy Carter’s in 1979.

Americans see little evidence of an economic recovery, more and more workers are giving up hope of ever finding a job, the burden of student loan debt — now larger than credit-card debt — is crushing the hopes of young people, the president’s signature achievement, healthcare reform, is broadly unpopular, our borders are overrun by migrant children, Iraq is falling apart, Syria and Ukraine are in turmoil and the president seems hapless and ineffectual. “Malaise” was the term used in 1979 to describe the deep pessimism Americans felt about the way things were going in the country.

Totally agree- I work with die-hard Obama lovers, one has a signed picture from the One and Michelle in her cube.

I read little while ago Obama is now going to spend the summer visiting working folks that he has received letters from telling him how hard they are having things in life.

Today he is visiting a working mom....gag me.

This- while a hero and Marine sits in a Mexican prison..No time for him. Speaks volumes.

Bill Schneider backed the Clintons all thru the 90's.

Nothing's changed. Here he is doing it again.

Clown Prince nobama is intentionally doing what he does and doesn’t do. Intentional. In a sick sense, the fool has been successful. The bum should be in prison...only to be released when he is so old that he can barely move and function.

Carter was not as bad as Obama, not even close. The Iran hostage situation was bad, of course, but Carter didn't do anything that got them killed. The world had not descended into chaos under his presidency. The fuel embargo and inflation changed the US, but it when it was over we still had a middle class.

The US will never recover from Obama.

Gee. Put a hapless community agitator in the White House. What possibly could go wrong?

He is the least qualified President in our history and we are suffering accordingly.
