It turns out the Republican Party can mobilize minority voters after all by despicably playing the race card against its own base.
In a kamikaze move that couldve been sponsored by the Hemlock Society, a ruling class desperate for a Pyrrhic victory decided it was better to save fossilizing Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran than preserve whatever scintilla of party unity remains.
Its one thing to disagree with your base. Its entirely another thing to use the most slanderous assaults on their character from their opponents for your own benefit. But thats just what the Whig
er
Republican Party establishment did in a power play that could very well alter the history of the Grand Old Party once and for all.

Ping.
Anyone who votes for a Republican after this deserves the Tyrannical government they get.
When are people going to wake up and form a viable third party? The Republicans AND Democrats hate Americans.
Maybe time to take over the Constitution Party?
Congrats GOP elite!
You used Democrats to beat down your own party voters!
Good work
NUTS!
THIS MEANS WAR!
It’s like I told a Cochran supporter last night. I really hope all these ‘new’ GOP voters vote for Thad again in November.
He’ll need those votes.
Because he’s not getting mine.
Amen. Enough is enough. Your Own party accused you of racism to motivate the opposition to vote against you in our primary. What more would it take for voters to change their view of the current GOP?
The people we sent to Washington or the people who sent them there?
Do we form a new party or take control of the current one?
We put them in power and now they are using that power against us.
The GOPe and the marxists have one key advantage over us.
We are not organized. We fight like cats and dogs and we do hold grudges. We would rather sink the boat just to try to drown the other guy.
I am writing in Chris’s name in November. I can’t stomach a vote for the establishment.

If I lived in Mississippi I would write McDaniel in as a “Tea Party” candidate and see how many of those so-called republican votes were real.
I am DONE with the Rhino’s.
I’m not for a third party but am for a better organized grassroots. Could call ourselves the Patriots, never ask for $ and call out any groups trying to use our name for money.
What we should do is organize a grassroots movement, not the Tea Party because they’ve been co-opted by money-grabbers but a fresh honest approach. If the people can come together to effectively fight Cantor and Cochran, think what they could do if they had a central point to get information, polling places, candidate’s stands on issues, etc.
IMHO
Thad Cochran will retire long before his term is over. Haley and the boys are waiting in the wings to put in his hand-picked successor, via Gov. Bryant. To all the McDonald supporters, I suggest we start taking down all those state Republican elected officials that stood by and never condemned what went on in the Cochran campaign and supported him all the way - beginning in 2015 with Gov. Bryant. 187,000 + McDaniel supporters might not have changed things on the national level but we can damn sure change things in the State of Mississippi
“Congrats GOP elite! You used Democrats to beat down your own party voters!”
The GOP Elite may have outsmarted themselves. Mississippi Tea Party’ers and other conservatives may be so upset that the decide to sit the election out, thereby handing it to the Democrat candidate.....
Start a write-in campaign for McDaniel in November and if the Demrat wins say FU this is payback for the primary!
By the way, in Mississippi, if the state party asks, a run off is closed. It is totally up to the party, and not the state.
I agree, Mississippi has a population of ~3mil, and there were only 376,323 votes cast in this election. If McDaniel and the Tea Party could have just reached out to 1% more of the voters, he would have one in a landslide. If he had even only reached .2% more, he would have won.
