R&B superstar R. Kelly made his first public comments about his 13-year-old child Jay, who came out as transgender earlier this month on social media.
Speaking to Chicago radio station WGCI, Kelly said, You dont really want to open it up by saying my daughter is becoming my son.
Kelly was reacting to the news that his child is a transgendered teenager who now goes by Jay. Jay, who was born Jaya, made the announcement in a blog post on his Ask.FM account about two weeks ago.
Dont even give the blogs that kind of credit. You know what Im saying? Real talk, Kelly told the radio station Monday.

im sure chaz bono is gonna offer assistance.
This is crazy. No wife of a coal miner ever wanted to become one of the fellas riding down the mine shafts every day. And no miner ever donned a dress so (s)he could stay home with the children instead. This is a disease borne of opulence. Bob
Kinda ironic since Kelly likes young girls now his child is a warped as he is.
Please, this creep. Wasn’t he up on charges for screwing 13-year-old girls?
What do you think has happened to his daughter? Maybe she thought being a boy would protect her.
Not so ironic if he molested her.
Daddy ... notice me .... please .... ?
And decadence and a screwed-up, permissive, victimhood-promoting, so-called progressive environment.
If he were a real dad, he’d be trying to find out who molested her when she was younger.
know wuh im sayin?
Kelly lives a degenerate life, chaos impacts his child. Prolly thought being a boy would make her dad love interact with her more as he treats women like whores.
Remember when he did that song with Michael Jackson? The pedophile with the pederast. And what was the name of the song? “Cry”.
If 13 year olds REALLY knew what they wanted, we’d have 13 year olds as president.
If you knew your dad was responsible for “Trapped in the Closet”, you would be a bit messed up too.
Very possible. Besides, when parents go along and accept these fictions, they can play the role of defender and advocate. It covers for and deflects scrutiny of the trauma/abuse/neglect that caused the poor kid to seek shelter under an identity delusion.
I don’t recall any trans Rockefellers, Rotschilds, Mellons, Walton’s, Vanderbilts. I would look to the cultural, spiritual, psychological influences.
My first thought as well. I've seen several photos of her, and she has a painfully anxious expression on her face in every one.
