A California-based group that has been battling the National Security Agency for years in lawsuits flew a giant blimp over Utah's NSA Data Center Friday.

At least for now.
Probably the closest we will ever come to tar and feathers again.
Counting down how fast this becomes an Anti-Mormon thread, because it’s in Utah. There’s been sooooooo many today.
What the hell are you talking about?
“Parker Higgen, of the San Francisco-based group Electronic Frontier Foundation, said that between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., he along with a pilot from Greenpeace flew a 135-foot blimp over the data center with a banner that stated: “NSA. Illegally spying below.”
The group, he said, was trying to raise awareness for its new website, standagainstspying.org/.”
In a manner similar to Godwin’s Law.
Take a card from the punishment card deck and read it aloud.
Disregard the one mentioning a tidal wave a crazed ferrets.
I guess you haven’t seen the umpteen Mormon bashing threads today on FR. Anything and everything that can be connected to such seem to be used to that end. As the NSA facility is in the most conservative and most Mormon county of Utah, I predict the usual suspects will try to do their thing here too.
That’s the “hell” I’m talking about.
In before that happens...
Near-single-issue posters are funny.
Is bumping the blimp similar to rocking the boat?
So far, the only person talking about it here is you.
Trying to hijack the thread into a self fulfilling prophecy isn’t right.
Not certain, but I bet some bizarre websites best not viewed just added some keywords to their filters that read “blimp bumping”, the pages brought up requiring a complete mindwipe after viewing.
Don’t tell Laz!
I can see how you might feel that way, but Just look at the latest post from one of the usual suspects. They just can’t NOT make a connection in their comments if it’s Utah. Here I was “in before..”, so it hopefully won’t happen here.
I’m sorry if I hijacked this important thread, but If you want to see exactly what I’m talking about, see this new thread this morning
