Thank you!! That is EXACTLY the issue! Son was concerned that, if they were put on medicaid, that they would not be able to get off of it! He and wife don’t want any part of Obamacare, and would gladly pay for the doctor themselves if they were in a position to do so right now. They don’t want any part of the government dole! Son will gladly pay into a healthcare program provided through his employer.

Please pray that son gets the job he’s after. He was raised that a man works and supports his family. He wants to do just that.

Just checked your home page. Serious recommendation is go talk to your Priest and see if he knows any church affiliated programs including clinics which can help out short term. Some churches and groups of churches run Inner Faith clinics where payment is based on ability to pay including wages and expenses. It likely won't be the first time he's been asked.

Short term I wouldn't worry too much. IF the child does get seriously ill there is always the emergency room and payments despite threatening letters can be worked out to where it doesn't break their bank account.
