Well that sounds good.

But where is the evidence of this?

Secure the border.

Secure the border.

Secure the border.

Well I’d be equally for that plan.

I just want someone. Anyone. Some party. Some leader. To stand up and do something about our nonexistant border security.

Neither party, is doing one thing.

Not one thing.

Wake the heck up, stand up and take a stand. Darn it.

Border security, then deportation, then prosecution of any company that hires illegals, then the army is sent to the border, then Mexico is informed that if their idiot military crosses into U.S. territory at any point we will shoot on sight.

GOP-e is relentless in forcing the package deal on us, as if it's assumed that some form of amnesty absolutely must go hand-in-hand with doing their jobs and enforcing the law.

What's wrong with simply enforcing the f*****g law? Oh yeah, that's not what the Chamber et al wants - that's what's wrong with it.

Securing the border won't stop visa overstays who comprise 40% of the illegals. And why should we legalize those who committed multiple violations of our laws? When you reward something, you get more of it.

Attrition thru enforcement should be our policy.

but not until the border is secure.

That old canard has become laughable.

If they wanted to secure the border, they could do so with EXISTING laws.

And, LEGALIZATION of illegals is AMNESTY, even though they cry that it is not.

40% of illegals are those who have overstayed their visas. The largest number in this 40% group are Indians. Unless and until we have a no-holes barred deportation, al this is utterly worthless. The whole world knows if you step foot in the US, that’s enough. The Indians, in particular have turned it into an art to exploit the prospects for chain immigration aided and abetted by a large cottage industry of immigration lawyers.

How about:

Stipulate COMPLETE border security as a *pre-condition* for amnesty talks, with lots of flowers and pomp and circumstance, and then after that’s complete simply fold our arms and negotiate 0% and amnesty ZERO Mexicans..?

How about that?

And then deport ALL the illegals.

Looks like it’s going to be a rather long wait for that “conversation.”
