Actually, thank you... My grandmother passed away June 21st and I just flew out to Oregon to attend the funeral. I don’t think that it all hit me until I found the song and posted and then watched the video. Finally got the tears to flow that I had been holding back.

When I was 5 years old, my mom, sister and I traveled by bus from Texas to Oregon. Now my Grammy would say that the first words I said to her when I got off the bus were “Hi Grammy! Got a quarter?” (There must have been a gum ball machine close by) today at her funeral, I placed a quarter in her hand, and told her she could have it back. The beautiful part about this was that the date on the quarter is the year we came to visit all those years ago. And this was unplanned!
