Maybe he found the droids he was looking for. In any case, a man dressed as a "Star Wars" storm trooper caused a brief lockdown at a Salina business yesterday.
KSAL News reports that around 1p.m. Monday, Salina police officers were dispatched to the report of a possibly armed man in the 100 block of South 7th Street.
An area business owner and another man were working when they noticed the "trooper" outside carrying a gun. One of the men thought he may have been carrying an AK-47, and called 911.
Police advised the owner to lock up the business while numerous officers responded.
As it turns out, there was no danger. A man was visiting an attorney's office nearby, while his storm trooper friend was outside shooting a video for a website. He was carrying a plastic gun.
KSAL said police counseled the filmmakers on the potential consequences of their actions in public, then urged them to be responsible before letting them go.

How about counseling the cowards that are so brainwashed that they cal police over others partaking in legal activity?
We have become a nation of wimps.
These people must shut the lights, pull down the shades and crawl under the bed at Halloween. Or has Obama signed an executive order banning Halloween costumes with plastic guns yet?
Someone in the town must have felt a disturbance in the Schwartz!
something which makes no sense is: Why do they wear that armor? As near as I can tell it has no effect at all on any weapon used against them.
Gear Queers, just like most cops.
They do look good, at least to me.
Ever notice how good guys always wear vests?
I didn’t watch it all because I have a fairly limited amount of download left.
What I did see was funny as all get out and well done too.
